Allí estamos

This week went by really fast. We ended Monday with a family home evening with some members and like 5 or 6 investigators that they had invited to there house. It was really fantastic. Then Tuesday morning we had to send elder Jorgensen off to look for his trainee. So he had to leave early. We had almost all of the elders in the zone in our house because it is the closest house in the zone to the terminal and the other elders live way to far away to make it on time as well. I had to stay with one of the elders that was sick while all the other elders went to the terminal. So i didn`t get to see elder Jorgensen off but a little later in the day Elder Minola came and we have been crazy ever since.

Lets just say that this guy has character. He is from the providence of Buenos Aires from a comuna named Pilar or something like that. He is really funny and he is super animated to work. It is a blast to work with him.
Everything is going pretty well here in the Lands of Temuco.
Love you all,
Elder Miller

A cambio in Labranza

So first I have to tell you all that we have transfers and Elder Jorgensen is leaving Labranza. Sad but he is going to love his new sector a bunch. I am staying in Labranza and my new companion is going to be Elder Minola, from Argentina. I am really excited to have my first real latino comp. All my other companions until now have spoken English fluently.

This week was really crazy we always get committed to do a lot of service. I also was able to go to Cunco for an intercambio and that was cool. Lots of travel for that but worth it.

Here are some pictures from the last district meeting and one with Elder Gonzalez.
Love you all,
Elder Miller

~From Elder Jorganson: "Elder Miller and I were walking down the street, and Labranza is like half urban, half rural (agricultural) I forget the words in English honestlyxD So next to the street there are tons of trees with huckleberries on them and we saw some of the members eating the berries and they invited us over and we all took pics with blue tongues."

I`ll say it so you won`t

So as many people have reminded me I have like six months left.
Thanks. thats all.
This week was really great. It rained a lot and oh yeah. I almost
forgot. One of the elders in my house got called to be assistant and
we had a new elder come to the house. I already knew him from my
previous zone so it has been really great. we are having loads of fun.

I just wanted to share with you a little scripture from my studies
today. It is in Alma 11: 39-40 and it says:
39 And Amulek said unto him: Yea, he is the very Eternal Father of
heaven and of earth, and all things which in them are; he is the
beginning and the end, the first and the last;

40 And he shall come into the world to redeem his people; and he
shall take upon him the transgressions of those who believe on his
name; and these are they that shall have eternal life, and salvation
cometh to none else.
Love you all.

Año Feliz

So this new year was spectacular. We all passed it really quietly and
everything. Around 7:00 we went to one of the investigators of the
other elders and had an asado and that was pretty cool. Then we went
to our house at like 10:30 and waited for the new year. It came and we
went to bed. The next day we got up and found out that there were
still people outside partying in the streets as well as in there
houses. We make our way to church and there is no one there basically.
I am talking about a ward of 160 people more or less. When we get
there there was 20. We barely arrived on time. However in the next
fifteen minutes more people come and we get to about 80 people.

Well I don't have any cool pictures this week but I just want you all
to know that the church is true and that I know that I am here for a
reason.

Love you all,

Elder Miller
