El Gran Espiritu

Bueno. To say the list this week was not any less busy than the last. At the very least though the missionaries going home are home and the missionaries coming to the mission are here. No if everyone would do me the favor of not touching anything that would be great. Ha I am not even joking. I never would have guessed how much work went into all of this until you have done it four times. Hopefully you learn from it though.

You may be wondering about the title though. To say the very least possible it is based on Alma 18. I like to think of the events that happened here because I like to relate myself to Ammon. A lot of his missionary work up into this point was not teaching but serving and as he served he was noticed for diligence in the way he served. His example of selfless service inspires me to serve with more of my heart and with diligence. I know that when I am serving other that I am serving god (Mosiah 2:17) That helps me a lot because even though it can be really stressful doing everything I know who I am really serving and that he is helping me in this service.

I love you all and I took a selfie because my mom has been telling other peoples moms that I need to send pictures.

I love you all and I love being in the service of God.

I had a birthday?

This week has been really busy. We have had conferences this whole
week and also been preparing for the transfers of the mission and the
arrival of the new mission president. So this Saturday we were moving
stuff from a house in a pueblito to a safer and better house. we spent
most of the morning doing this and then we had to set up a whole bunch
of other things for the cambio and that was my birthday. The wife of
the mission president actually bought us some pizza as well as we were
doing things. I am sure that I have like a million things to tell you
guys but I don't really have the ability to think right now.

Love you all,

Seek and Ye Shall Find

So this week starting Tuesday in the morning and lasting until Friday
in the afternoon Elder Maldonado and I out in different parts of the
mission seeking out good housing for different missionaries. We were
able to accomplish many things this week and we had a lot of cool
experiences. One of the cool things that we did this week is that we
were on our way to a city called Arauco and we were ahead of schedule
by about 45 minutes. One of the other cities that we were passing by
doesn´t have missionaries in it right now because the house that they
were living in isn´t in good conditions and we needed to find a new
one. We decided to go looking for a little bit and we found a really
nice house that was really cheap and that we could get the
missionaries into in time for the next transfer. Overall we had a
really great experience and we have done a lot to help the houses
progress in the mission.

As well since we have been traveling a lot and haven´t had time to do
our studies we decided to listen to the audio of the scriptures and
while not a substitute for focused study it does help to get that
spiritual uplift and guidance that you need in the day. I hope that
you all can find the ways to better use your time as well to have the
spirit with you in greater portion.

Love you all.

What a week, What a time.

This week was full of a lot of travel. I have literally been driving a
car for almost everyday this week except for today. We have been going
with President to the zone conferences and helping with the
organization of those and as well we have been installing new fire
alarms in all of the houses. Also during all of this we are helping
various missionaries find new places to live and moving them there. We
have been organizing the contracts and have been making everything
work out okay. It can be really stressful at times running from one
part of the mission to another but there is always some way that
everything works out. Also I have been able to get really good at
driving stick shift. The best way to learn is to do it for three weeks
in a row all day. Woohoo.

As well during all of this we are moving our own house little by
little. It is great.

Anyway that has been my week. Today we finally get to slow down a
little and maybe even take a nap if time permits it.

Anyway I love you all.
