La Semana Santa

As many of you know Easter is fast approaching. This Sunday is the
Easter Sunday. Here in Chile they close down everything. All the roads
here in Concepcion are basically empty. It is really kind of spooky to
see.

Anyway. This week was really cool and extremely busy. We had a seventy
Argentina come to our mission and we had a lot to do to prepare for
him. So because he was here we had a mission tour. He arrived Monday
and he had a meeting with all of us in the office. So it was him and
his wife, the mission president and his wife, the AP´s and My
companion and I. It was a really cool experience. Then Tuesday morning
we all traveled south for two hours to Los Angeles and had a
conference there. More aptly put. They had a conference while I
prepared lunch with my companion. However we did get to listen to a
bit because of a tender mercy from the Lord in which one of the senior
couples helped us out. Then after that conference we cleaned
everything up and headed even more south and back to Temuco and we
stayed the night in one of the houses with the missionaries there. It
also just happened to turn out that it was Elder Cederstrom and his
comp who were in the house we stayed at. So the next day we had a
conference and the AP´s had a meeting with a stake president after so
we just started to head back on bus. We get about an hour out and we
realize that I had the keys to the mission truck. So we got to Angol
which is about two hours away and we turned back. We got to Temuco
then headed back to Concepcion. We ended up getting back at almost 11
oclock. Overall road trip success.

Right now we are preparing for the transfers that are going to be
happening this very next Monday and it is pretty crazy. Anyway love
you all and have a good week.

Just another week in paradise... Actually its Chile.

We are just doing crazy office things here. It is really weird to
think that I have already been here for almost a full transfer.
However this one is an extra week so we are not worried about that as
of yet.

However this week we did have what is called return and report. So all
of the people who are training new missionaries came up to this office
for some more training and everything. It was really cool because
there are a few missionaries who come to the mission with me who are
training. It was cool to see them again.

Also this week a learned a lot more about printers! So exciting!

However in all reality it is really cool to be in the mission office
and doing a bunch of work here.

Attached are a few pictures. One is my comp and I with a convert of
one of my previous companions. Also with me and a lot of people from
my group.

This week I went to Los Angeles!

Saturday, March 5, 2016

Ya avancemos

This week has been very good as well as a little hard. So first with the good. We were able to get a lot of stuff done in our sector this week and if all goes well and according to plan I will be able to work even more in the area. A little bit of a funny story is that I had to take some of the mission vehicles to get inspections done and right after we got it back from the inspection we got a flat tire. So I have now had the wonderful opportunity of changing a flat tire on my mission! Also if you didn´t quite catch I GET TO DRIVE. It is really scary and stressful driving in south America however the average speed is lower that in the states so that helps a fair bit.

However the sad part of this week is that the mission president went to the states for health concerns and we recently found out that he has cancer. If you would be so kind as to include President Bluth in your prayers I would be grateful.

Anyway we move forward and onward.

Love you all
Elder Miller
 PS We got Mexican lolipops

todos ustedes. La idea consiste de lo siguiente;

Yeah my mission president has cancer.
