God Answers Prayers

So Still kickin it here in Labranza city. Got my crazy comp and one of our investigators in the picture attached.

I feel like sharing an experience from this week with all of you.

So this week I was pondering a lot about missionary work and how important it is in our lives. Like I think this was some of the deepest pondering I have done in my life. Well I came across a scripture that really caught my attention and that is what I would like to share.

Alma 29:9  I know that which the Lord hath commanded me, and I glory in it. I do not glory of myself, but I glory in that which the Lord hath commanded me; yea, and this is my glory, that perhaps I may be an instrument in the hands of God to bring some soul to repentance; and this is my joy.

A lot of times we just sit around sputtering in our lives thinking that we don`t know what to do but really it has been given to us since long beforehand what we should do. As we turn to the lord for help and guidance things become a lot easier. We then begin to focus on people other than ourselves and see changes in their lives. It is something that we as missionaries are always trying to do. This process brings joy and feelings of purpose and love. This is very similar to the love that our Savior has for us. In those moments that must have been so difficult for him as he atoned for our sins he surely thought of the reasons for which he suffering. He thought of us. He thought of you, individually. I know he loves us and he understands us. Thats what I wanted to share with you all.
